Any document in Atlantis can contain various special characters and objects. Some of them never get printed on paper and by default are not visible in the document window.
The "Special symbols" mode of Atlantis makes it easier to identify the special characters and objects contained by the document. To activate this mode, click the Special symbols button of the View toolbar
, or choose the "View | Special Symbols" menu command, or press CtrlShift8. When this mode is on, Atlantis displays special symbols for the special characters and objects contained by the document.
