You can normally access this dialog by pressing CtrlG, or choosing the "Edit | Go To..." menu command, or clicking the Go to... button of the Edit toolbar .

This dialog allows you to navigate among various locations in your document.

First choose the desired type of location from the Go to list box.

Then enter the item number in the Enter ... box and click Go. If you want to browse through the document to move to each occurrence of the selected type of item, clear the Enter ... box and click the Next or Previous buttons.

Tip:

• To go to the desired target, you can enter any absolute number like "page 7", "paragraph 24", "line 156", etc. But you can also specify a relative increment such as "+5" or "-7" for each of these categories. For example, "+5" will take you 5 pages, paragraphs, lines, etc forward, depending on which category is selected on the left of this dialog. "-7" will take you 7 pages, paragraphs, lines, etc backward.
