Click & Type

With the "Click & Type" feature you can quickly start typing text at any open area of a document. Just double-click the desired point, and type your text.

When your mouse pointer is over a blank area of the document, the following mouse pointers can be displayed:

The shape of the mouse pointer indicates which alignment will be used for your new text.

After double-clicking the desired point, you can start typing text. You can undo this typing as any other operation.

The "Click & Type" feature can be enabled or disabled through the Click & Type option (choose the Tools | Options... menu command, click the Edit tab).

Note. The "Click & Type" feature is not available in paragraphs belonging to bulleted or numbered lists.
