Sorry for the Subject wording on this but I don't know what these are called.
Sometimes when I copy text into a document it creates these "groupings" with the '-' and '+' symbols that I do not want. (please see screenshot below)
I once figured out how to remove them, but forgot what feature this is or how to do it.

Thank you for those references, they helped me understand this feature much better.
It's a great feature so I don't want to disable it. I have a much better understanding of it now so I know how to activate it when needed.
I determined that what I needed was the 'Convert heading(s) to body text' button in the 'Headings' section on the 'Control Board' panel. I wanted to be able to remove certain headings that appear sometimes unexpectedly when I copy text into my documents without losing the text. This did the job!
