Thanks for the explanations and infos. :D
The “Mouse hover previews” is a separate feature. [...] Maybe the mouse hover previews should not be canceled immediately after the mouse pointer has left the corresponding link but after a delay.

Re: Automatic jump to the first search result in the document window
the cursor automatically jumps back to the first entry
I can confirm this behaviour and I would like to add that I notice that the same happens (for a second) in another situation too. There it has to do with the "Mouse hover previews" mentioned above by admin:
And speaking of jumpiness, the ...

Re: Automatic jump to the first search result in the document window
By the way, did you know that you can go to the first found item in the document window by pressing Enter in the "Find what" box of the Find/Replace tool?
Yes, I did, and I use this method pretty often as it is very comfortable too.
But especially when you want to find the one and only ...

Automatic jump to the first search result in the document window
The search feature of Atlantis is already very good and quick but I think it could be made even a little bit more comfortable in the following way:
At the moment it works as follows:
"As soon as you specify text in the Find what box of the panel, it starts searching the target document(s) for the ...

PDFs created by Atlantis are not searchable by certain PDF-viewers
That's an aspect that I had either not dealt with when I made some short tests with the new PDF-feature of Atlantis some weeks ago, or it is an issue that was caused only recently by some update:
Just now I created pdf files with Atlantis, version 5.0.0.14 ("File -> Save Special -> Save As PDF ...

A tiny problem with a German "Umlaut"
Nothing of big importance. But because at the moment it is very quiet here in the Forum I think I can mention it.

Re: Document Bar: exact position on the bottom
Ah, I see. - I always use the Draft view.
Because of technical limitations or as a deliberate decision?admin wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 3:12 am There are no pages in the document in Atlantis under the Draft view. The first two sections of the status bar work differently depending on the current view mode (Draft or Print Layout).

Re: Document Bar: exact position on the bottom
You are welcome, rstroud.
Thanks to both of you for your comments about the subject. My opinion concerning the position of the two bars is still a different one, but the matter is not so important to insist with counterarguments etc.
Concerning "Abschnitt" vs. "Seite" ("Section" vs. "Page"):

Document Bar: exact position on the bottom
A request for a small correction. Surely not of big importance but because of logical reasons it is a bit annoying as it is now. :P

Yes, either this method. Or write the message directly in the forum but save (copy) it in certain intervals and in any case before clicking "Submit". Sorry, Robert, that my answer is very short but as it happens permanently in this forum, you are kicked out of it when it takes a longer time to write your post. Then you have to log in again but all your text is gone. - I do not like do write all from scratch again. Therefore my brief comment ...

Here are two examples how the environment of a page break shoud look like after cropping, when in the original file there is blank space at this point (PDF-file produced with go4convert.com, cropped with PDF-XChange Editor - see attachment):
