In a new book I am entering into my computer to covert to ePub for reading on my Kobo eReader I have multiple justified first line indent paragraphs that have a made-up word longer than the page text width. the word is the word babble repeated without spaces between ‶babble″s. I tried using the Zero ...

AutoCorrect Options > Replace text custom saved where?
Hi,
I want to be sure I am backing up my custom Replace text list. I have recently been adding a lot of entries because of a 750-page scan of a book with a poor font. Is that list saved in an accessible file or must I manually export it?

AWP 5.0.0.6 new file F12 (Header & Footer) causes Error
The 1st time I have started editing using version 5.0.0.6 a newly created file (file copy of _Book.rtf and renamed for the book I scanned into my computer) I got an Error saying Access violation at 0063F628 in awp.exe when pressing F12, the file then closes. The same happens using the icon on the ...

Problems with ePubs generated starting 4.4.5.6
Starting with Atlantis version 4.4.5.6, and the version after, the ePub generated has noticeable differences. I finished reading an ePub on my Kobo reader of a book I had scanned into my computer using Atlantis and generated and loaded a new one incorporating all changes made in the Rich Text file ...

Re: Do not hyphenate paragraphs in ePubs
Hi admin,
The use of Do not hyphenate is a style that some (not many) book publishers use in specific circumstances (never in regular body text) to indicate the text is special/different from the rest. It may indicate a handwritten note is being read or it is a list. Given it is rare there is no ...

Re: Hyphenation dictionary for none language
Hi admin,
Thank you for the suggestions.
I do not use optional hyphens as these books are going to be converted to ePubs (thanks for that built-in function) to be read on my Kobo ePub reader which handles them poorly, i.e., leaving gaps or dashes in their place when the words are displayed.

Hyphenation dictionary for none language
In some of the science fiction stories I am entering into my computer the author uses unusual capitalization patterns for his made-up words. These words are also used with the normal capitalizations that Atlantis already handles. To be able to have the spellchecker find any misspelled made-up words ...

What are the rules for the Basic.asn Caps & Num Lock warning?
Hi,
I have been getting an apparently random single car horn honk recently and today traced it to the Basic.asn sound scheme. i would like to know when that warning is given so I can understand what is going on. In the meantime I have disabled the warning.
