Tiff Graphics Import Problem

Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 3.
Atlantis v. 1.6.1.9

I am importing TIFF graphics into an Atlantis document and it pastes in with a horrid dark purple background. The graphics are created in another program, a music notation program called Finale. I have no problem doing this same task in a MS Word2000 document.

What could be causing this?

Thanks for the TIFF file. It is monochrome. The present version of Atlantis imports such TIFFs incorrectly. This will be fixed in the upcoming version of Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.2. Thanks.

Thanks. I'll look forward to that update as the program from which I create that graphic (music) only exports TIFF. In the meantime, I work around it by taking the file and converting it to another format in my photo editing program. PNG works okay. I'm posting this info, just in case anybody else has this problem before the Atlantis update comes out.
