I often apply an outside border to my images in Word. But if I open my docs in Atlantis, these borders do not show. Would love this feature added. Images look so much better with a black line border applied.
Thanks - love the work you guys do.
Images with a border
Robert, this is what I do to all my photos, maps, diagrams, etc. and as you said it can be added in many photo editor programs.
At first, I wanted it to be resident in Atlantis like MS Word but I have several workarounds now for my books.
I use the Faststone Image editor for this. When I need something more elaborate I use Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro. Then when I add it into the page of text it looks much better.

Re: Images with a border
Hoping to resurrect this 2015-era request, as it is a feature I use often within several Microsoft products..
I thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Re: Images with a border
Atlantis doesn’t offer tools to edit graphics for multiple reasons. One is that you will always have a better choice of options in a dedicated graphics editor. In MS Word, picture borders are part of a much larger set of graphics-related commands. Since Atlantis doesn’t offer the entire set of these commands, it wouldn’t be correct, in my opinion, if Atlantis offered only one command from the set.
