problems loading large files

Since I updated my copy of Atlantis with version 1.6.5.8 I have been having problems loading large files generated with the previous version.

I am using Vista Home Basic with SP2 on an Acer Netbook, Intel processor 1.33 GHz with 2Gbytes RAM.

I tried two different files - same problem. The .rtf file is 69MB and "opened" in 45 minutes. I ran memory diagnostics - no errors; pagefile size is on "automatic" but no excessive paging indicated.

I closed the file and opened it using "OpenOffice". The file loaded / opened in just over 2 minutes. Any suggestions please?

Does your document contain images? If so, how many and how big they are?

Could you ZIP & email your document file to support@AtlantisWordProcessor.com?
