AWP 5.0.0.6 new file F12 (Header & Footer) causes Error

The 1st time I have started editing using version 5.0.0.6 a newly created file (file copy of _Book.rtf and renamed for the book I scanned into my computer) I got an Error saying Access violation at 0063F628 in awp.exe when pressing F12, the file then closes. The same happens using the icon on the tool bands and when using the Tool Bar > View > Header & Footer. I have kept the file where I got this error. I have reverted back to 5.0.0.5 so I can continue entering this book into my computer for conversion to ePub. Please determine what is causing this Error.

This is an unfortunate “last minute” bug in version 5.0.0.6. I too have stumbled upon it earlier today. Please check for updates. Sorry for this.

I also encountered this error, but in version 5.0.0.9. Furthermore, the program is unstable in the Linux (Wine) environment. For example, when attempting to perform a special paste, the program freezes (a black window appears). GDI has no effect.

I am not sure if these two errors are related.

There is a change in 5.0.0.9 that seems to create problems under Wine. This will be addressed in the next build of Atlantis. But it manifests itself very differently, at least on my virtual Linux installation. In my case, Atlantis simply freezes indefinitely right at startup.

Please “update” your Linux copy of Atlantis by running this setup file. If you still get errors in Atlantis, this can be investigated further.

I have just briefly tested the latest version - 5.0.0.10 - on my virtual copies of Ubuntu and Mint. Encountered no issues.
