In Atlantis I think there is not such a possibility. It would be fine if it could be established here too as it is useful in case that either you simply want to remember your last edit before closing the document or when you want to continue the editing on exactly this spot.

Go to location of last edit when opening a document
In MS Word (at least in the old version I use) there is a possibility after opening a document to jump directly to the location where the last edit was made. It works with the shortcut Shift+F5 or also with a command you can click on with the mouse. (That's the way I prefer it, though I do not remember how I had managed to transfer this command to my toolbar.
)

Re: Go to location of last edit when opening a document
Yes, it is similar and is not bad at all. But it has two drawbacks (compared with my practice in MS Word):
- You cannot decide per individual document but only in general if you want to go to the last cursor position or not.
- And the last cursor position is not necessarily the position where you performed the last edit within the document.
