Moving paragraphs

Post by Eduardo »

Hi,

Is it possible to move paragraphs up or down similarly to, for example, WriteMonkey? It's a great tool to have when comes to editing.
I could copy and past but I find this way to be a more practical process.

Thanks.

Have a look at Hot keys. Edit
Move the current paragraph or selection of paragraphs up = Alt+Shift+Up arrow
Move the current paragraph or selection of paragraphs down = Alt+Shift+Down arrow

Note that you can also use Drag & Drop to copy or move fragments of text (including a paragraph, of course) from one location to another within the active document, or between different documents.
When the source text is located a long way from the intended target within the active document, moving it with drag & drop is often much easier if you have the document displaying in Split view mode.

Thank you very much, Robert.
This is a very good revision feature that should be highlighted, in my opinion. It's sort of hidden, I think. Nevertheless, thanks again. I appreciate your help.
