Reading View

A Reading View, as in Word, would be nice.

This is not exactly what you suggest. But if you enable the "View | Draft" mode of Atlantis, and activate the "View | Spotlight" feature with the following settings:

you would get a convenient mode for reading: the current text would be always spotlighted in the middle of the screen, and you can simply press the Down arrow to switch to next portion of text.

Spotlight is indeed an original view, but a 2-page Reading view emulates what the text would look like in a book. If the 2-column option were to work in Draft mode that could do it — in Print mode they are too narrow.
