Sorry, Robert, that my answer is very short but as it happens permanently in this forum, you are kicked out of it when it takes a longer time to write your post. Then you have to log in again but all your text is gone. - I do not like do write all from scratch again. Therefore my brief comment:
- The Firefox PDF reader is simply useless for me because search is extremely slow or even impossible in case of bigger PDF files.
- The bug with Sumatra PDF which you describe seems to exist, but it does not affect me because I never work with these settings (maximized window plus "Fit a Single Page").
PDF files produced with Atlantis: Problem with hyperlinks
Re: PDF files produced with Atlantis: Problem with hyperlinks
You can write your forum messages in Atlantis at leisure, and copy/paste them to the forum when you are finished typing them in Atlantis.Moonlight wrote: Fri Sep 19, 2025 5:39 am as it happens permanently in this forum, you are kicked out of it when it takes a longer time to write your post. Yes, either this method. Or write the message directly in the forum but save (copy) it in certain intervals and in any case before clicking "Submit". Then - after being kicked out and performing the second login - paste it again in the message box. - That's the way I do it most of the time. But in this case I forgot to copy it.
Anyway, the essence was said also with a few words only.
And by the way, a small correction (once more in favour of Sumatra
) to my note above concerning the pre-release of Sumatra PDF. I wrote:

Nothing has changed concerning the search speed. It is excellent as it is in the current official release and "search-as-you-type" continues to work fine. Obviously I made some mistake during my first attempts with the pre-release.Moonlight wrote: Thu Sep 18, 2025 4:47 pm (Note: ... The pre-release ... resolves the issue with the hyperlinks but search speed has become worse, especially as at the moment obviously there is no "search-as-you-type". ...)
