Default "spellcheck"

How do I make "Check-as-you-spell" the default setting?

Many thanks

Exactly correct. When writing pieces, Atlantis is my favorite. When editing, I feel like a traitor, but must use another program. Such is life. But certainly hope Atlantis's next version includes tracking changes

Registration Code invalid

When my computer near-crashed last week, I had backed up almost everything including (what I thought was) the Atlantis registration code. Alas, I must have copied it wrong somewhere along the way. So I wonder if I cold have the right one. My name is Harry Rolnick. The code I have is ... Hope you can...

Oh, I see somebody else mentioned this, with the reply that Atlantis doesn't have this feature. Sorry to have repeated the query. But it would still be nice to have it!

Tracking Editing Changes

I hate returning to Word. But as an editor, I have no choice, since there seems no way to showing and tracking editing/changing marks on a document. Or am I wrong? Tracking changes would be an enormous addition to Atlantis's other excellent features.

Many thanks for such a quick reply. And for giving me the option to re-download my original copy. I'll decide things later today. Have a good summer.

Paying for Version 2

I've been a happy paid-up Atlantis user for many years, so without thinking, download the newest version, was asked to put in Registration number and that wasn't accepted. Doing some research, I found that I am supposed to pay more for this version (which I don't need), though this wasn't mentioned ...

Wonderful!!! Thanks so much. Never noticed that box before. Worked like a charm. I'll look at Clippy Bank later today, though, as a Bernie Sanders fan, I don't trust any financial institutions very much.

Many thanks. That box asking me to confirm whether or not I wish to serve is the one (I now realize) which doesn't appear. Maybe I inadvertently checked "Do not show this again" Anyhow, I'll try to get it back today, unless you happen to know a magical way of restoring that Confirm or Not ...

Un-Saving An Unwanted Screen

Lately, I've been unable to "un-save" documents. This is what I mean. I go on Atlantis and find my blank screen. Onto that I might paste a phone number I will need in a few minutes. So I minimize the screen, go back in a few minutes by maximizing the screen (never saving the files), make t...

Blank screen at openng

Although I've checked the "Create New Document at Startup" in the Options directory, Atlantis always starts me off in the last document I worked on. A totally trivial problem, but is there any way I can open on a blank screen and then choose what I wish to do?

Many thanks, as always

That worked like a charm. The insane asylum which poses as Microsoft Support team left my computer in a shambles. But at least Atlantis is working well. Many thanks

Thesaurus missing

Because of recent crash, I just reinstalled my favorite word processor (Atlantis), and all is well--except that the thesaurus is missing. It's listed, but the button to get it (Shift F7) and an assigned button get no reaction.

Any help available? Many thans.

Atlantis for Word 7

Finally am upgrading from beloved XP to Windows 7, and want to confirm that Atlantis World Processor is okay with Windows 7. Or do I need to download a new version of Atlantis.

Many thanks.

Blue Screen

I just uploaded to the new version of Atlantis, and can't find how to change the main screen from the default white to (what I consider), the more soothing blue.

Have I missed something?

Many thanks.

To Admin: Robert gave me, finally the solution, so now I can open maximized. (See preceding reply). But since you asked for it, here, attached, is the screen in all its glory. The "problem", which is hardly a problem at all, is now repaired. And I can go back to my daily writer's chore of ...

To Robert: Tis a Christmas Miracle!!! That hybrid solution of opening Atlantis and then using all my physical strength to lug it to the right size (well, virtual physical strength) actually worked. In fact, to test things, I rebooted the computer, and it still worked again As I always knew, the comp...
