You need to create that kind of “vertical text” as a text box in a graphical software like MS Paint, and save the picture to your disk. You can then paste it into a table column in Atlantis. See attached “Vertical Text in Atlantis Word Processor (2b).docx”. The same picture with vertical text can al...

In Atlantis, UK and US English are not treated as the same language. Both the spellchecker and AutoCorrect behave differently depending on which language is associated with the current word. If you click “Tools | Default Language…”, select UK English and check “Associate all new text with the follow...

Your file encoding is UTF-8 w/o BOM. You need to convert it to the ANSI encoding. In Windows 10, you simply need to open the file in Notepad and resave it with the ANSI encoding. At the bottom of the “Save As” dialog, you have a drop-down allowing you to choose which encoding you want to save your f...

Eduardo, I suggested posting one of your text files, not a screen capture! I went to Auto da eleição do rei D. João I, de 6 de Abril de 1385 , selected the main text, and copied it with right-click and Ctrl+C. I then pasted the clipboard contents into a new Atlantis text document [“File | New > Plai...

Or do you open the file in Atlantis first, then copy/paste part of it into a new Atlantis document? Could you please post a sample file o...

The decision to change the tested and quite refined toolbar system of Atlantis 2 with an unproductive and ugly blaring background color one is most unfortunate. The toolbar system of Atlantis 3 can be customized in many ways. In that respect, it is a lot more “refined” than that of Atlantis 2. In p...

with LibreOffice you can create a style that uses borders around a paragraph. You indent the left border of the paragraph in the style, add a little bit of padding, and then delete all the borders except the left one. The result is great. You can just click to apply the style when you need it. The ...

But you can still use a workaround in Atlantis, if you create a custom Format Template in your Format Palette with the following paragraph and tabulation format properties: https://www.atlantiswordprocessor.com/en/fo...

You could create screen captures and edit them so that any sensitive information is blurred beyond retrieval. The screen captures should show the Special Symbols (non-printing marks). You could add the blurring effects in Paint.NET. It is a very good free “image and photo editing software for PCs th...
