How do I search for Clips inserted in a document? There is no special graphic search symbol.

In Word it's possible to sort a document by headings. Can we do that in AWP?

Unlike Word, AWP is not compatible with Dragon Naturally Speaking. I was wondering how hard it would be to make it so.

An option to automatically hide or collapse specific headings or chapters in the document window, as in MS Word Outline View, would be nice.

I understand now how to do it. Adding a Table of Content creates heading bookmarks. Then it's possible to link to such a heading/bookmark, possibly from another file.

It's only possible to link to bookmarks. It would be useful to be able to link to headings as well (more useful, in fact, in my view).

The unobtrusive hatching used for the Selection is great. It would be nice to be able to apply it to any paragraph, with choice of color.

I have an imported document with all sorts of styles in it. I want to remove those styles to keep it simple. So I use Reset Font Format, and now the document is in my default Normal font.

The problem is that all italics and bold are gone.

Is there a way to Reset the font format while keeping those?

When an accented letter is used in the search box, the accent is ignored. For instance, searching for "é" will find "é", but also "e", "è", etc.

Things are back as they were for some reason.

With the same configuration as above and the same open documents, a newly created document has now a sizeable window. It's rather confusing - but as I said not very important.

It's a not a real problem but it keeps bugging me.

Whenever I open a document, or create a new one, the window is very small. I can resize it of course, but I don't recall AWP doing that before (I'm using 4.0.6.11).

If Atlantis slowly responses to the AHK's keystrokes on your system, there should be same delay in case with standard key presses. I don't find this to be the case (see GIF). If having a floating picture in the document is a necessary condition to reproduce the delays, this whole issue is unrelated...

To this already long thread let me add 2 observations: It's only the Square and Tight image layouts that cause drastic slowdown with AHK. In Line with Text doesn't. On a whim I installed AWP 4.0.2 on an old, 32-bit laptop running XP. AHK is significantly faster there! I thought 32-bit vs 64-bit AHK ...

I tried on 2 laptops with different Windows versions and didn't notice a difference.

I pressed the same letter during 5 seconds in both documents, repeated several times. It looks about the same.

Applying the Square wrapping to the Clip image doesn't change anything, but deleting it makes the problem go away.

When it comes to AHK string replacement, AWP is still slower than Notepad for instance, or Word. Is there some AWP setting that would speed up AHK, other than no image?

There is definitely something going on there with AHK hotstrings replacement. I made those 2 recordings showing the words rome and florence being replaced with Rome and Florence. The 2 files have the same text in them, yet the second one is more responsive to AHK than the first. I'd be happy to try ...
