Thank you! That worked. control-shift-8 is a shortcut. Is there a way to find this command in the Tools or Help of AWP?
Nevermind. I found it, under View. That's the tool I needed. Again, thanks.

Re: How to undo auto-indent?
What does it mean -- not downloaded yet? Is it something I failed to do or is it telling me that you have not looked at it yet?

Re: How to undo auto-indent?
Yes. I found a version with the error in my autosave backup files. Search for "maka:"

Re: How to undo auto-indent?
It's not auto-numbering nor is it adding bullets (I delisted that option in the autocorrect options).
I'm not sure why it's happening. It only happens in that part of the document. I retyped the entry manually. I had to try three times before the autocorrect indenting stopped. Weird. Might be a bug ...

Re: How to undo auto-indent?
control-z; I will try that. Thank you.
Edit:
didn't help. maybe I'm using it incorrectly? I tried two things. I highlighted the entire doc with control-a then hit control-z. no joy. I tried highlighting the one part of the doc that is auto indented. control z. no change.

How to undo auto-indent?
AWP 4.4.6.2
Good morning! AWP did something odd today. It suddenly decided to auto-indent as if creating bullets. I have "Automatic bulleted and numbered lists" disabled in the autocorrect options.
How do I undo this? When I cut and paste text from this doc to a new document, the formatting ...

Re: Out Of Memory softlock
Update: I am using ver. 4.3. I think I got an early release of it. Anyway. The softlock doesn't happen as often, but it has happened twice. One time was 'normal' for me, the softlock happened after my fingers returned to old habits; I highlighted text and pressed the delete button. I know better but ...

Re: Out Of Memory softlock
1. Yes, there are many ways to work with highlighted text. Many of these seem to be related to the softlocks I experience with AWP. If I change text from ALL CAPS to lowercase using keyboard shortcuts (I think it is Ctrl-Shift-F3? My fingers know the shortcut better than my brain), I get the ...

Re: Out Of Memory softlock
It happened again. I'm not certain that I did as you said because when I went to rename my Atlantis folder (to regain use of the spell-checker, for example), I found another Atlantis folder. I thought I'd changed the folder name after the update but apparently not. The new Atlantis folder has 3 ...

Re: Out Of Memory softlock
Update. I did the things suggested here. Status:
1. I ruled out the idea that the bug is associated with the Ctrl key. It happens more quickly when I use those shortcuts but it eventually happens even when I use my mouse exclusively and avoid keyboard shortcuts. The bug seems to be associated with ...

Re: Out Of Memory softlock
Update. I tried life without the Ctrl key, thinking that it might be a hardware problem or a bug associated with using that key.
No. Got the error message and lock again; this time with 1526 Mb listed as the allocated memory. I used mouse commands to cut and paste or to bold/unbold and used the ...

Re: Out Of Memory softlock
I loaded the program. It showed 14 Mb when it softlocked and showed the error message, Out of Memory. Highlighting text to manipulate it (in this case to bold the text but it happens with cut-and-paste also) seems to be a high-risk activity. It doesn't usually result in softlock but I've noticed ...

Re: Out Of Memory softlock
Hi. Did that. Still getting the softlock sometimes with the error message sometimes not. Can I download a previous version of AWP to see if the trouble is with my computer or with this version? Can I load a debug version?

Re: Mouse wheel too slow or too fast
I no longer have this problem. I did as advised and it fixed the troubles. However I probably could use the debug version because now I get softlock with an error message “Out of Memory,” and the steps advised have not fixed the problem.

Out Of Memory softlock
Ver. 4.2.1.1; since installing the latest version of AWP, I occasionally get an error box popup, “Out of memory.” It locks the program. I lose any work not saved or autosaved. Rebooting the computer removes the problem but it recurs, seemingly at random. Today it happened when I only had 3 files ...

Comment/Uncomment
Is there a way to include notes in a mass of text that won't print? Margin notes? Editorial marks?
When programming I can include text between [comment] and [uncomment] and the program ignores it. Does AWP have a similar feature? I considered using white font on a white background but that shows up ...
