As far as I am concerned, the "default language" option works in the latest version of Atlantis as it has always worked in Atlantis. No changes regarding the "default language" in the recent versions of Atlantis.

Re: Add Linked Frames Feature or Option
This is a major feature requiring significant changes to the current document structure in Atlantis. I can't say when Atlantis will support it. But it will not be introduced through a minor release for sure.

Re: [Epub V2] Footnote in-page also
Atlantis uses generic CSS style names for non-heading paragraphs in EPUB based on their formatting, not the role they play in the document.
Atlantis will save footnotes/endnotes with the "epub:type" attributes to the EPUB 3.0 eBooks because these attributes are part of the EPUB 3 format ...

Re: [epub V3] epub:type note missing
The next release of Atlantis will generate note references and notes in EPUB in the following way:
EPUB 2.0:
A note reference in "nnn.html":
<a href="notes.html#aNNN"> ... </a>
A note in “notes.html”:
<p><a id="aNNN"></a> ... </p>

OK, this will be implemented in the next release of Atlantis. Thanks.
Re: Scrolling
I'm not saying the utility is bad. I mean, I don't think that Atlantis should be reworked for compatibility with a utility that has long been dead and irrelevant. MS DOS wasn't bad, either. But it's 2026, not 1996.
Re: Scrolling
After trying a few more different prompts, I have found the utility. I am sorry, but you are asking for better compatibility with a legacy abandonware created when computer mice didn't have the scroll button.
Re: Scrolling
In theory, it would be possible to rework the corresponding modules of Atlantis to make them compatible with that tool. However, I personally don't feel this needs to be done for multiple reasons.
The right mouse button is used almost exclusively to display context menus, not for scrolling. It's ...

Re: Scrolling
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but can you please provide a link to a Web article on Microsoft Windows mentioning this feature (scrolling windows using the right mouse button)? Also, doesn’t your mouse have a scrolling wheel?

The “Crop blank areas” option works similarly to the “Hide white space" option in the document window of Atlantis.
What “undesired space” do you mean?

The "Smart cut & paste" option of the next build of Atlantis will be smarter regarding clips beginning/ending with spaces/tab characters or containing only punctuation signs or special characters.

Re: Using Powertoys Hot Keys has unexpected problem
As I understand, you mean the "Keyboard Manager" tool of Microsoft PowerToys. It inserts text into a document via pasting. Atlantis assumes that the pasted text contains whole words. This is why the "Smart cut & paste" option of Atlantis may add spaces before/after the pasted clip. There will be ...

Re: Tables and adding columns
Atlantis doesn’t support nested tables (tables within a table cell) or floating tables (text wraps around the table). Atlantis in general isn’t the best tool for composing charts.

Re: Question about loading pictures into a document
Another interesting fact is that if you insert multiple copies of the same graphic file into a DOCX document in Atlantis, the DOCX file will contain only one actual graphic file shared by the corresponding pictures in the document. So, inserting additional copies of the same picture into a DOCX file ...

Re: Question about loading pictures into a document
When saving as EPUB , the original graphic data of the pictures from the source document is preserved unless the picture is a Windows metafile or SVG. Metafiles and SVGs are always saved to EPUB as PNG or JPEG. In the case of PDF , Atlantis always embeds pictures into PDF files as JPEG. So, JPEG is ...

Re: Include power typing cache file in backup routine
Atlantis generates the .cache files on close. This makes system crashes a less likely cause of such a problem.
