Ha! Thank you. The problem was definitely with AppData files. The US English version's language was set to a value of zero. Put it back to 1033 and everything's working now. I appreciate all of the help. I had given up hope, to be quite honest.

I have neither moved my Atlantis folder, nor multiple instances of it on my hard drive. It is, as the filenames said in the emails, installed in C:/Program Files (x86)/Atlantis, and not in C:/Program Files.

Sent, and my previous version was 1.6.4.3 . I ran that successfully since it came out. When my spellcheck stopped working I switched to the beta 1.6.5.0 which did not solve my problem, though I have had no others with it.

It green-underlines the entire document, with no message to indicate why.

Since upgrading to the most recent version of Atlantis, my spellcheck has refused to work. I am using English (United States) language and dialect, but Atlantis seems to insist I have no dictionary for US English. I have checked my spellcheck settings, and have both the US and British English ...
