Most probably, you already use memory flash drives (also known as USB sticks) to carry documents, music, or image files. In this way, you can bring work home from the office and back. You can copy or transfer files from one PC to another. Your files travel with you wherever you go. You can plug your flash drive into any PC with a free USB socket, and immediately access the files and documents stored on it. USB flash drives make you highly mobile.
Now there are flash drives and flash drives.
U3-compliant or U3-smart flash drives use state-of-the-art U3™ technology. These next generation USB drives bring to a new level the idea of mobility behind memory flash drives. They include a secure hard-coded area that functions very much like a portable operating system with its own Launchpad, menus, and installed applications. All U3-smart memory flash drives display the U3 logo.
U3-smart drives make any PC your own PC.
With U3-smart drives,
· you can not only carry around and access your personal or working files from any PC,
· your favorite software (e.g. ImagiPass) can also be launched and used from any PC,
· you will not have to reconfigure your applications on each new PC. All your personal settings, files, file histories, etc, are stored on the U3 drive. And no entries are made in the registry or system of the host PC. All U3-smart applications are fully portable and autonomous.
· you can also use the U3 built-in encryption capability to store files and applications securely on the U3 drive. They will be kept away from prying eyes, and no one else but you will be able to launch protected applications,
· when you unplug your U3 drive, no personal data will ever be left behind. U3-smart flash drives are stealth drives. They respect your right to privacy.
All U3-smart flash drives also include a U3 Launchpad. A U3 Launchpad is preinstalled on every U3-smart drive and is accessed from the U3 icon located in the system tray of the Windows Taskbar. The U3 Launchpad functions very much like the Windows "Start" menu: it can be used to install, configure, manage, uninstall applications to the U3-smart drive, and of course to launch any software available on the U3-smart drive. U3-smart applications are not installed on the host PC. They are installed on the U3-smart drive and launched from it.
The U3 Launchpad and U3-smart software run on Windows 2000 SP4, XP, or higher.

The standard version of ImagiPass installs on any PC or on any ordinary USB flash drive. The U3-smart version of ImagiPass installs on any U3-smart memory flash drive. In this way, ImagiPass can be run from the U3 Launchpad on any PC capable of running U3-smart drives. Installed on a U3-smart drive, ImagiPass travels with you and enters passwords for you as soon as the U3 stick is plugged into a PC. When the U3 drive is unplugged, ImagiPass leaves no trace of its own activities or settings either in the registry or on the hard drive of the host PC.
Note that all registered users of ImagiPass are entitled to full use of both its standard and U3-smart versions. In other words, a single license allows you to install the standard version of ImagiPass on your PC, and the U3-smart version on your U3 drive.
To install ImagiPass on your U3-smart drive, or upgrade an existing U3 installation of ImagiPass, please download and launch the following file:
Note. Before upgrading a U3-smart copy of ImagiPass, you need to close any running instance of U3-smart ImagiPass. For this right-click the ImagiPass icon in the notification area of the Windows Taskbar, and choose the "Close" command from the menu.
