Deleting Text

You can delete either a single character from the active document or a text fragment.

To delete a single character, use one of the following methods:

1. Place the cursor immediately before the character that you wish to delete, then click the toolbar button or press Del.
2. Place the cursor immediately after the character that you wish to delete, then press Backspace.

If you wish to delete a text fragment, select it, and click the toolbar button or press Del.
