Applying styles with the Format Brush

The Format Brush of Atlantis is a convenient mouse tool to apply font and paragraph formatting to an existing text. But the Format Brush can be also used to apply styles to paragraphs. Here is how to proceed:

1. Make sure that no text is selected in the document. If a selection is present, deselect it by pressing any cursor key or by clicking anywhere in the document window.
2. Activate the Format Brush mode by clicking the corresponding toolbar button:
   
   
   
   This will automatically highlight a number of toolbar buttons and controls with aqua color:
   
   
   
   This aqua color coding simply indicates that you can use the corresponding buttons and controls to change the formatting born by the Format Brush, including the Style to be applied.
3. Pull down the Style toolbar combo box, and select any appropriate style:
   
   
   
   The selected style will automatically be highlighted in red:
   
   
   
   This red color coding indicates that the Format Brush is now bearing the selected style.
4. Click in the target paragraph(s) one by one to apply the selected style.
