opening a file: the list IN DETAIL

I would like to have de list of files (to be openend) in detail, as I have left the list before. Now I always have to go to the list, to go to the menu, choose "details", choose the opposite sorting. No probleem when there is only one file. But annoying to have to choose hundreds of files this way.
Question to Atlantis-makers: Atlantis is starting its menu's as the user has left them.

Sorry, but this would not be possible. Atlantis relies on the standard Windows mechanism for displaying the "Open" and "Save as" dialogs. Regrettably there is no way to control the View settings of these dialogs programmatically. Every time Atlantis displays such a dialog, Windows uses the default View settings.
