Shortcut (hotkey or right click) to apply color?

Is there a way to set up Atlantis so that a shortcut key or an entry in the right-click menu can be used to quickly apply a color.

I often go back to a document and pickout bits of text in color. It is a chore if I have to keep moving the cursor between the selected text and the color button on the toolbar.

Have you tried using the Format Palette from the toolbar or from the Control Board?
