Wrong suggestion in AutoCorrect (Portuguese)

Post by Guest »

Happy New Year to you all!

When I use AutoCorrect to check for discrepancies, it always stops at words with an hyphen (in Portuguese) suggesting extra space. Example of words: torna-se, amo-te, cansa-se. Obviously the suggestions are wrong.
Please tell me what can I do to prevent this?

Thanks

I cannot reproduce this under the default settings of Atlantis. Have you adjusted the "Smart space management > rules" of Atlantis ("Tools | AutoCorrect Options... > Rules...")? The AutoCorrect might suggest missing spaces after hyphens if the "Smart space management > rules" dialog says that hyphens require a space after. Please make sure that the "Space AFTER the following punctuation signs" box of the "Tools | AutoCorrect Options... > Rules..." dialog does not include a hyphen:

Thanks for your reply.

I followed your suggestion and changed the AutoCorrect options to "default" and corrected the problem.

Thanks again.
