When I first installed the beta Atlantis, the computer locked up when the program attempted to first run, and needed the reset button. After rebooting, the same result. The previous Atlantis was uninstalled. After several attempts to run beta Atlantis, I uninstalled and reinstalled the last version with no problems. All of the 24 versions prior to the beta have been ok.
Tried reinsalling beta Atlantis after shutting down resident programs, firewall, virus checker. Program still locked up computer on starting.
Computer is celeron 400, 344MB RAM.
Atlantis beta conflict
Atlantis is not a device driver, and it could not lock up the whole computer. Do you mean that Atlantis displays its splash screen but never displays its GUI (toolbars, menus, the document window, etc)?
Please do the following:
1) choose "Start | Run" in your Windows,
2) type "regedit.exe" and click OK,
3) select the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Rising Sun Solutions, Inc." key,
4) choose the "Registry | Export Registry File..." menu command in Registry Editor, and send the saved REG file to betatesting@AtlantisWordProcessor.com.
Please do the following:
