degrees in date format

Post by mcleaver »

When I insert a date and my language is set to Dutch, for some reason the spaces between the day month and year become degree signs.
Trouble is, if I placed it here, then those degree times turn back into spaces. In fact, in any à la application the° is indeed a space. So why does Atlantis insist on putting in a ° on the screen?

Those signs are nonbreaking spaces. They are displaying only under the "View | Special Symbols" mode. Atlantis inserts dates in this way if the "Update automatically" box is unchecked in the "Insert | Date & Time" dialog.

Aha - thanks for the news... and any news about a new beta I can help perfect? I am so happy to avoid using WOrd, and would just love help get a new version up and running :)
