Couple of items

Firstly the simple one, I am using the free version so if this is already on the shareware version I will be happier coughing up the money. Simply a button on the toolbar to call up the recent documents list in a window. I use this far more than the open document button. Can users of the shareware version change the toolbar :?:

Secondly the option to view two different documents side by side and adjust their relative screen area with a moveable middle bar. I have found one RTF processor which does this but as the person hasn't updated their site in months it may be that they have given up. the reason behind this is that I use one document for writing novels and the other for storing notes. In a long doument it's a godsend to be able to do this. Switching between windows just isn't the same.

The freeware version has the "File | Recent Documents" menu command. I hope you meant this.

You cannot view two documents in such a "synchronous mode". But if you have two open documents in your Atlantis, you could use the "Window | Tile Vertical" command, then scroll each document window individually.

Yes, it would be nice to have the "File | Recent Documents" menu command as an icon for easy access on the toolbar. I have a limited number of documents, usually just three or four, and change between them so it's easier to use this. The smallest of these is over 80,000 words at the moment and the largest so far is 118,000.

I'm now trying out the tile option, seems to be workable

I have downloaded the shareware option to try out too.

The shareware version also allows to open "recent documents" through the drop-down menu of the "Open document" toolbar button (a menu attached to this toolbar button). To spare a mouse click, you could open recent documents from this drop-down menu.
