Transpose letters
Hi: would it be possible to create a hotkey to transpose typed characters. It's a typing error I often make. What I want to do is place the cursor between the two characters, hit the hotkey (say, F11), and have the characters automatically reversed. For example: if I type "todya" by mistake, I would place the cursor between the 'y' and the 'a', hit the hotkey and then get "today." I know I can use the spell checker to pick things up like this, but I would find this a useful feature. Thanks. John

You might not have realized this, but the Atlantis AutoCorrect already includes default replacement strings for common typos (achieved/achieved, actually/actually, and/and, against/against, etc.)
You can add any custom replacement pairs to these. Simply click Tools | AutoCorrect Options… and enter any relevant strings in the “Replace” and “With” boxes.
By the way, the “todya/today” replacement pair is already part of the default AutoCorrect entries. If you toggle the "Autocorrect as you type" option on in the Tools | AutoCorrect Options… dialog, replacement will b automatic as you type. No need to press F11 or any other key.
Also note that Atlantis will underline such misspellings if you have "Check spelling as you type" on (Tools | Options... > Spellcheck tab). If you right-click such a red wavy underline in the document window, you can select Add to AutoCorrect > More... from the pop-up menu, and add the correct replacement string directly.
