Reveal codes in docs?

Post by Overcast »

Hello,

Is there an equivalent to WordPerfect's Alt-F3 command, which reveals formatting codes in documents?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

I am sorry but Atlantis does not have such a feature. But you can always choose the "Format | Font" and "Format | Paragraph" menu commands if you need information about the formatting of the selected text.

You might also use Show special symbols to see such charaters as the blank space, tabs, and paragraph symbols.

Thank you for your suggestions.

I asked, since an RTF document that I've written in Atlantis, behaved strangely in an Adobe DTP program that a collegue of mine is using.

I don't know exactly what caused the strange behaviour in Adobe. I pasted a lot of text from webpages in the RTF doc. Maybe some invisible HTML formatting ended up in the RTF doc?

From a recent Atlantis Tip (at startup), I now understand that you can paste clean, unformatted text into a document with Ctrl-Alt-Insert. I didn't use that. I simply Ctrl-Ved. I guess this caused the problems.

Cheers,
