I tried printing a 2-up booklet on a PagePro laser printer with the following settings for document and printer.
Page Format
Page orientation Portrait
Paper format: Statement, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 in
Margins
Top: 0.33"
Bottom: 0.33"
Left: 0.25"
Right: 0.25"
Header 0"
Footer 0"
Print
Print booklets checked
Zoom
Pages per sheet: 2 pages
Scale to paper size:
US Letter, 8 1/2 x 11 in
The printout was printed in landscape mode as it should be printed.
The Top margin was about 1/2", expected o.33", the Bottom margin was about 1 7/8", expected 0.33", the Left margin was 1 3/4", expected 0.25". The second column of text started at 5 5/16" from the left side, I expected it at 5 3/4". If I fold the sheet in half to make a booklet the second column of text from the left crosses the fold. I was trying this as a way to print letters of Statement size on Letter paper.
2-up booklet printing under Ocean Mind 1.5.2.1
"Scale to paper size" means that the document contents would be scaled (zoomed). You could not have the original page margins when you print with scaling.
But I also understand how you want to print your document. With the current set of print features, you could not print it in the desired way.
More information on this issue will be posted to this thread in a few next days.

The "Zoom" features of the "File | Print" dialog will be reworked in the next build of Atlantis (1.5.2.2). The "Scale to paper size" box will be replaced with the "Actual paper size" box:

You will only need to specify the size of paper sheets loaded to the printer tray. Atlantis will decide itself whether scaling (reducing or enlarging) is actually required.
For example, in your case no scaling is required because two pages of the "Statement" format can be perfectly printed to a single "US Letter" paper sheet without any scaling.
This new build should be available in the next few days.

Re: booklet printing error Exception: Division by zero

An Error dialog comes up if the "pages per booklet" is left at the default blank, as follows:
White x in red circle with the following text:
Exception:
Division by zero
What exactly do you mean by "default blank"?
There is no default blank value available for the "pages per booklet" option in the Atlantis Print dialog. The default value is actually "Max".
Cheers

When I run Print on my Windows Millennium Edition computer the box has no number nor the word max in it when booklet printing is selected, this is what I meant by default. After selecting booklet printing I can click on the drop down arrow and select a value from the list, otherwise if I don't select a value and click OK to print the division by zero error dialog comes up.
As I understand, you specified “4” as the booklet size. This size is quite exotic because every printed page is supposed to be folded separately. The problem is that Atlantis is unable to read this smallest allowed booklet size from the Registry. A fix will be included to the next build or minor release of Atlantis. Thanks.
For the time being, if you really need this smallest booklet size, please manually choose the proper booklet size every time you print booklets.
