Address Book Exception errors

Post by John Stafford »

Win2K. I set up two address book files and entered a couple of names. Closed adress book and got "Exception: invalid pointer operation." Closed the add book and attempted to re-open and got "Exception: Access violation at 00403714 in module Atlantis .exe. Read of address 00000240."

Could then not use the add book at all. Closed Atlantis and re-opened and discovered the address book would open but I could not add, edit or modify any entry without getting an access violation. Re-booting the system worked but clearly something went sideways here. :?

Could you send your address book(s) to betatesting@rssol.com ?
Also what are the step-by-step instructions for reproducing that error message?

Thanks. A fix will be included to the next build of Atlantis. It should be available today (Sep 27).
