I downloaded Ocen Mind 1.0.5 Monday to trial.
I have a document with sections to set page numbering for book chapters. In the header I set a field for current page number in section 2, which is chapter 1, for outside page numbers starting at page 1 and not showing the first page number in the section. All of the page numbers are on the right side of the page both on screen and when printed.
Does outside page numbers mean that odd numbered pages have the page number on the right side and even numbered pages have the page number on the left side? That is what I took it to mean and that is what the pictoral representation seems to show when selecting from left, right, center, inside, and outside.

the "Inside" and "Outside" alignments are relative to the inside and outside edges of bound pages.
With the "Inside" alignment:
numbers are actually displayed with the left aligment on odd pages, and with the right alignment for even pages.
With the "Outside" alignment:
numbers are actually displayed with the right aligment on odd pages, and with the left alignment for even pages.
You could use the Preview mode (with the Two Pages zoom - it is a default zoom for the Preview mode) if you need the actual print preview.
