That's an aspect that I had either not dealt with when I made some short tests with the new PDF-feature of Atlantis some weeks ago, or it is an issue that was caused only recently by some update:
Just now I created pdf files with Atlantis, version 5.0.0.14 ("File -> Save Special -> Save As PDF..."). When I open them afterwards in my standard pdf-Viewer (Sumatra PDF) the search seems to take (a little bit) longer than in pdfs created by other converters. But the main problem is that Sumatra does not find any word (search term) that is definitely within the file! After a certain delay Sumatra tells me that the search term was not found (even when I see this term directly on my screen)!
It οccurs with PDFs created both from doc-files (MS Word) and from rtf-files (created from these doc-files).
PS 1:
Searching by Sumatra within pdf-files created from the same doc-files by other converters (e.g. go4convert.com, ilovepdf.com etc.) works flawlessly.
PS 2:
In this moment I see that searching within Atlantis' PDFs using the PDF-XChange Editor works without any problem. So yes, obviously the PDFs created by Atlantis are searchable - but there is a problem when using Sumatra.
PS 3:
With the built-in pdf-viewer of the Firefox browser the situation is the same as with Sumatra: Search terms are not found.
PDFs created by Atlantis are not searchable by certain PDF-viewers
Re: PDFs created by Atlantis are not searchable by certain PDF-viewers
This is because of a specific object that the recent builds of Atlantis put in the PDF "object stream". According to the PDF specification, this object is not supposed to be stored within an object stream. This has been fixed in 5.0.0.15. Thanks for taking the time to report this.

Thanks for this super fast fix. All works fine with 5.0.0.15.
