No formatting

First I want to say what an outstanding program AWP is. It is a beautiful piece of work! So compact, so powerful and so innovative! It's brilliant!

Regarding the "No formatting" setting in the font formats. I assumed that this setting would remove any formatting settings on selected text. But I was unable to see any effect when using this setting.

Is it working properly, and if so, how do you use it?

PS: I notice that the "Reset font format" button does reset the formatting. But I am wondering if "No formatting" is supposed to do the same thing.

"No formatting" clears the Format Brush so that you could manually add formatting to the Format Brush by clicking the font & paragraph format related buttons (Bold, Italic, Left align, etc).

Thank you for your reply. I am new to the formatting brush concept although I tried it and was able to get the brush to work. Very cool!

I still don't understand it well enough though to understand exactly the use of "No formatting," that you described, but I will experiment with it to see if I can grasp how that works.
