SOLVED! Text copied from Atlantis loses all formatting
SOLVED! Text copied from Atlantis loses all formatting
Hi all! I'm having a very frustrating problem wherein any text copied from Atlantis (CTRL+C/Edit --> Copy) loses all formatting when pasted into another (non-Atlantis) document or a rich text text-box online. All my italics, paragraph indents, bolding, etc just vanish. I've tried everything I can think of, and as far as I can tell from the Atlantis Help this isn't something that's supposed to happen.
Can anybody help me please?

Hi, that works fine, but my issue isn't copying text into another Atlantis document, it's copying text into another text program or a rich text box online, like I said.Robert wrote:Try "Edit | Copy as HTML" in Atlantis, then "Ctrl+V" into anything else than Atlantis.
Edit: Sorry, I misread your comment. Copying as HTML doesn't fix it; I pasted into LibreOffice Writer and the formatting is still gone.
Edited again: it DOES work pasted into Rich Text boxes though o.0 Maybe it's an issue with LibreOffice...
As you found out, you can assign any desirable hot key to “Copy as HTML”.
You can also place the corresponding icon/command on your Atlantis toolbars (Tools | Toolbars… > Edit category > Copy as HTML).
I know that we are not supposed to look a gift horse in the mouth, but if I copy a formatted text from Atlantis using “Copy as HTML”, and paste it into MS Word, the original formatting is preserved. If I copy a formatted text from Atlantis using “Copy as HTML”, and paste it into LibreOffice Writer, the original formatting is not all preserved: there are failings.
I leave you to draw the obvious conclusion…
