Trying AOM for few days. Every time I start typing, - it is very slow, and after some characters it gives error in kernel.exe and stops working. Couple of times it locked win and must reboot.
Your sound card driver might be unable to play sounds asynchronously.
Try to disable the sounds in Atlantis. Choose "Tools | Sounds...".
Click "Disable All". Or click the "Press Key" item from the "Events" box, then uncheck the "Enabled" box.
