Document Projects questions

Post by bookie »

Atlantic help says:
"When documents are saved as an Atlantis Document Project, the whole set can be loaded at one go, as a single object."
http://www.atlantiswordprocessor.com/en ... ojects.htm
Can the whole set be loaded and opened as a single document, which can then be saved as a single file?

I build my output from component files, a bit like your chapter 1, 2, 3, etc example in help. As the content of the components change, I'm looking for an efficient and reliable way to rebuild my output.

If my reading of help is correct, the answer is "no". In that case, what would be the fastest way to combine the say 10 documents of a project into one final output document?

An Atlantis Document Project is made up of several separate documents. Each has to be edited and saved separately. The Document Project itself is automatically saved when you click “File | Document Project > Close”.
To combine the documents of a project into one single document, you need to copy/paste each of the documents into a single new document. This can be done most efficiently if you use the Atlantis Clippy Bank and its special collecting mode. Here is from the Atlantis help at Clippy Bank:
Atlantis has a special mode connected to the Clippy Bank. When this mode is activated, any data that goes to clipboard, is also appended to the Clippy Bank.
You could use this mode to collect excerpts from different documents, pictures or links from Web pages, or any other type of information supported by Atlantis.
After this you could use the data collected by the Clippy Bank to compose your own document.
To activate this mode, click the Clippy Bank collects clipboard data Image toolbar button.
HTH.
