|
|
| I like that bullets in Atlantis are done with graphics because they appear correctly in Kindle reader.
However, they have a white, not transparent, background - so when the user configures color kindles or kindle reader on iOS or Android to the sepia background, the bullets have a little which square around them. It is distracting and unprofessional looking.
Is it possible to change this to a transparent background?
Thanks!

| I am sorry, but Atlantis does not support images with transparent regions in document files.
But you could easily "tweak" your EPUB file, and replace the corresponding graphic files with their semi-transparent versions.

| Maybe I am misunderstanding. Aren't the graphical bullets added only during e-pub export? (from reading a very old thread before the bullet feature was made graphical)
Wouldn't you only need to replace your bullet graphic file for epub export with a PNG that supports transparency?

| The problem is that you cannot have transparent images in an Atlantis document that you save as EPUB.
But since any EPUB file is just a ZIP file, the graphic bullets from your source document are stored within the EPUB archive/package as ordinary graphic files (PNGs). It is fairly easy to replace non-transparent graphic files stored within the EPUB package with their transparent versions.
