This e-reader seems to have problems to read footnotes/endnotes in epubs
made with Atlantis. I have also checked these epubs in a Sony PRS-T1 and endnotes/footnotes seem to work well. I would like to know if somebody had the same problem using a Kobo Touch as epubs made with other tools (Scrivener, QualityEpub) and also having endnotes/footnotes can be shown
by Kobo Touch no problem and, sincerely, I don't know if it is a problem of
the e-reader firmware or if, perhaps, Atlantis code for endnotes can cause
some kind of "crash" in Kobo Touch

Sometimes I can get it to work if I increase the font really large but this is not practicable... I am using the last and update firmware but I am afraid there is some bug as far as the treatment of hiperlinks concerns. I have tested it in both Sony PRS-T1 and Nook Simple Touch readers and Atlantis' epubs work fine, endnotes and html T.O.C. included.
Another problem of last Kobo's firm. update is something awful: no top margin!. First lines are sticking at the top border of the screen and the Kobo Touch has a deep plastic frame which often casts a shadow on the
first line. The device allows to change right & left margin settings but not top & bottom. I realized that it specially affects those epubs where margins are fixed in %. That case the reader ignores the css style and
fixes its own margins... Fortunately, the last beta of Atlantis solves this problem. I have tested it "rebuilding" epubs using "ems" instead of "%" and now text is nicely readable on Kobo Touch. So let me congratulate the Atlantis' team for all your constant improvements.
Well, sorry for the long speech. Just for your information I am sending you the requested epubs generated with both applications (Atlantis and Scrivener) so you can take a glance at the css code but, sincerely,
I think the main problem is the firmware so.. consider this matter as a "another e-reader curiosity".
Thanks for the files. I cannot see much difference in note formatting in both files. By the way, the note reference marks in EPUBs generated by Atlantis are supposed to be easier to "activate" ("touch") since Atlantis encloses reference marks between figure brackets. In this way, the "click" area becomes larger.
