New Files Naming

Post by acant05 »

Each time I create a new file a new number is appended whether the previous one was saved. Can I reset this count someway? I am now up to Doc77.rtf I would like to use "Doc01" until a file is saved by that name. Thanks.
Blessings,

Please uncheck the "Continuous numeration" box on the "General" tab of the "Tools | Options..." dialog. After a restart, Atlantis will use "Doc01.rtf" as a name for your first new document.

Hi!
My wash regards new documents naming/numberring too, but it's a bit another. Is it possible to increase the loop of numbers sequence used as a final part of a new document name? Now it is 01-100, but I'd need something like 01-999.
Thanks!

Sorry, we cannot make this change to the standard version of Atlantis Word Processor.

But if you like, we could compile and send you a custom edition of the executable file of Atlantis that would work in the way you need.

Thank you, but it is not SO critical for me, can live without it
However I please you consider once more adding this option to the standard version. I suppose, that many oher user might wish it as well.
