There are two tools on the Extended toolbar which I would like to have on the Formatting toolbar instead, but I can't find them in any of the lists of available commands on the left side of the "Toolbars" dialog. On the Extended toolbar they're called:
- Insert symbol
- Sort paragraphs in ascending order
Can't find tools for customizing
Well, this is interesting. I looked again later and found both tools, in the All Commands category (the first place I looked), and I successfully copied them to the Formatting toolbar.
But then I looked again and they had reverted to not being in the All Commands category of Available Commands. And I've tried several more times, and they never re-appeared there. They've stayed on my customized Formatting toolbar though.
It seems like some sort of tiny bug. I'm using v1.6.1.9, on Vista Home Premium.

There is no bug here.
Only the commands that are not already installed on the selected toolbar are displayed in the list of available commands.
You would find the "Insert symbol" and the "Sort paragraphs in ascending order" commands on the left if, on the right, you selected a toolbar where these commands are not already installed.
Cheers,
Robert
