| I need someone to help me with this problem. I have been trying to create a toc for a particular document. Each time I tried I got this error message; "Atlantis found no paragraph with Heading styles in this document....."
Please, I need a solution to this problem ASAP.
Counting on your expertise in the house.
thanks.

| Hi Saka,
Like MS Word, Atlantis automatically builds the TOCs from the text of the paragraphs associated with the Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3, etc styles. If none of your paragraphs are associated with a Heading type style, the document TOC simply cannot be built. Please read the dedicated help topic at Table Of Contents.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert

| Thanks a lot Robert.
I have tried several times creating "Heading" styles, but I seem not to be getting it right. I already have several documents that were created in MS Word. So i am bringing these documents into Atlantis from where I hope to generate the TOC for each doc.
and referred to the Atlantis Help, but I still couldn't find a way out.
Any additional info you can give, I really would appreciate.
Thanks once more.

| Hi Saka,
Suppose that you have a document with such “headings” as these:
The Old Sea Dog At The Admiral Benbow
Black Dog Appears And Disappears
The Black Spot
To associate each of the above paragraphs with a Heading style (let’s say, Heading 1), do this:
1. Place the insertion cursor within the first paragraph.
2. On the Atlantis toolbar, click to open the “Style” pull-down list.
3. In the menu, click on the “Heading 1” item.
The paragraph will immediately be associated with the Heading 1 style in the document window.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each paragraph that you want to associate with the Heading 1 style.
Atlantis will pick up all these Heading 1 paragraphs when you create a TOC for the document.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert

| Can't thank you enough Robert. It worked fine. Really appreciate it.
There's still much I need to achieve using Atlantis Word, because my final output is generating epub files from my docs. Can I constantly turn to you whenever I need your help?
Thank you very much.
