Old clip library folders still present in control board

Post by maxjensen »

I have a problem with some old folders that are still present in the Control Board but no longer in the Clip Library folder (C:\Program Files\Atlantis\Clip Library). I did change the path of the library folder long ago but have since changed it back. But the old folders are still left in the pane.
I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to get rid of them.
I have searched my pc for the folders - but they are nowhere to be found - except in the Control Pane.

Thanks for your help!

And it returns!

This is the weirdest!
Now the folders have returned in the control board. And not just the folder but all of their content that I previously deleted as well.

I also deleted my templates before reinstalling Atlantis. They are back as well. So there must be a hidden file hiding somewhere....help would be gratefully appreciated!!

Thanks!

As I understand, you have Windows Vista or Windows 7. The problem is that the present version of Atlantis stores the user-specific files under the "Program Files\Atlantis" folder. Windows Vista+ does not like when applications write anything to the "C:\Program Files" folder. Your "hidden" files are actually stored under the "C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Atlantis" folder. Please also click here.

This and many other compatibility issues will be resolved in the upcoming version of Atlantis 1.6.5.8. It should be available for betatesting in a week or so.

We apologize for the inconveniences.

I know it wasn't a huge problem. It just annoyed me that the folder kept coming back. Thank you very much for your help!

Cheers,
