save a document as Web-page NOT in UTF-8 Unicode encoding

Post by Leopoldus »

Hi!

When Altantis saves its documentes as web-pages, it uses by default UTF-8 character encoding ans inserts proper charset tag in the heades of the saved document:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-utf-8">
It's fine, that Atlantis supportes Unicode encodings, but sometimes a user may need to save a HTML document with other encoding, say, ANSI or Windows-1252 (Western Europe). Is it possible to assign encoding other, then UTF-8, say, Windows-1252:
1) for the current document before it is saved?
2) for the all documents (that is change default encoding).

Thanks!

I am sorry, but Atlantis will not support character encodings other than UTF-8.

I believe there are free tools on the Web that can convert UTF-8 HTML files to Windows-1252.
