How long does a beta last?

Post by kaver »

Dear admin,
I am sure there must be info on the topic of betas but I cannot find it.

I would like to know how long a beta version lasts. Is it the 30 days of a normal Atlantis program?

Will it have any effect on my current version of Atlantis Nova? I use this a lot in the preparation of rough copies of book chapters before going to Word for final copies.

thanks, kaver

Hi,
If you have registered a copy of Atlantis Word Processor, your registration number remains valid for all beta versions.

If you have not registered any copy of Atlantis Word Processor, all beta versions are subject to the same limitations as any unregistered copy of Atlantis Word Processor (i.e. the 30-days trial period).

Note that beta versions of Atlantis Word Processor remain available for people wanting to test them until they are deemed to be stable and are replaced by an official non-beta release (upgrade).

Atlantis Nova is freeware and is not subject to any limitation. It will not be affected by installation or uninstallation of Atlantis Word Processor.

Also note that Atlantis Word Processor has a “Draft View” mode that would be ideal for the preparation of the rough copies of your book chapters. Please have a look at the related help topic at http://www.atlantiswordprocessor.com/en ... _modes.htm.

And most likely, your books could be finalized just as well in Atlantis Word Processor itself. :)

HTH.
Cheers,
Robert
