I am trying to save the file as an epub. I would like to have the cover and the images that are inserted in the file saved in the ebook. I have not figured out how to deal with the images and save the file as an epub.
any workflows that somebody tried and worked? the file is an rtf file (copy paste from notebook), and pictures are jpgs or pngs inserted in the file.
Thank you for your time,
Adrian

Yes I did. I tried that exact Save Special->ebook and then I tried to see it in Stanza. The picture was not in the book. Or I should say they were not in the display.
I went and changed the epub to zip file and looked at the files inside. There was the picture inside the zip file.
So I am not sure if I need to insert the pictures in the document in Atlantis in a certain way or if there is anything special I need to do. I even picked a file that you put out on the Atlantis forum as an example to 2 column text and inserted pictures and tried that into a epub. The same story. No pictures in stanza and in the zip file the pictures were in there. Any thoughts?
Thank you,
Adrian

Hi,
Are you sure that Stanza displays the pictures included in the EPUB files?
I have the latest version of Stanza Desktop for Windows (http://www.lexcycle.com/download-windows) and it displays none of the pictures included in the EPUB files I tested it with. All the other e-readers for Windows (ADE, Sony Library, MobiPocket Reader, etc) display the same EPUB files with their pictures.
Cheers,
Robert

Most probably it is a limitation of your ePub reader. If EPUB files created by Atlantis, display correctly in "other ePub readers", it is an issue with your ePub reader.
There are plenty of sites with free ePub books on the Web. For instance:
http://www.web-books.com/
http://www.snee.com/epubkidsbooks/
You can test other ePub books on your eBook reader.
