error when calculating totals

Post by Peter »

When I want to calculate totals using Alt-Clt-Sft keys I get an error message: Calculation error: Unknown constant "5.0 6.0 7.0" These are the numbers I tried to add.

What I am doing wrong? I use Atlantis Nova 1.0.0.70

Thanks for the help

Atlantis Nova does not calculate totals. It calculates arithmetical expressions. Type "5.0+6.0+7.0" in your document, then use the "Calculate" command.

Thank you for the advise. I can live with it, but would be helpful to sum a column (even if only on the clipboard).

Any chance to get it in a future update?

Otherwise I enjoy using Atlantis, it does all I need from a word-processor (at least until now). It opens fast like a text editor, but its capabilities are much better.

Thank you for offering it free.

The full version of Atlantis Word Processor can sum a column of numbers. Please click the following link for details:

I know that you are interested in the freeware version of Atlantis. But the problem is that we do not add new features to Atlantis Nova since 2001. Atlantis Nova is a quite old software with a limited set of features. I am sorry.
