Automatic View Size

Post by jcharley »

When I open any document in Atlantis it seems to automatically select 100%. Is there anyway to make the default viewing size "page width"? I looked thru all the options but can't find anything that seems to do that.

Any non-plain text document (RTF, DOC, DOCX, etc) has information about zoom level (zooming factor or percentage) within its file. When you open an RTF or DOC file in Atlantis, Atlantis automatically switches to the zoom level specified in this document file. There is no option in Atlantis that would allow to ignore zoom information retrieved from document files, and use your custom zoom level.

Note that when you save a non-plain text document in Atlantis, its current zoom level is also saved to the document file.

One more note. Plain text documents (TXT) cannot contain information about document zoom. When opening plain text documents, Atlantis uses the zoom specified within the default document template for plain text documents - "Plain.rtf".

Thanks. That works (of course, you would know).
